Photographed in Brigus, Newfoundland - three poles, the national flag, the
provincial flag and the Royal Canadian Regiment flag. The RCR flag is dark
blue-deep yellow-dark blue.

These are the Colours of 1st Battalion. They are in the old configuration
of the Queen's Colour appearing to be on the left side of the display when
facing forward but in reality its position was determined by the base of the
staff which was to the right. The Queen's Colour is always carried on the
right of the display. The royal blue colour with the battle honours on it is,
of course, known as the Regimental Colour. All four battalions of The RCR have
a set of colours with only the number on both to differentiate them.
